High success rates and the College’s quality assurance put in place for the ACS course have led to promoting the program to the rank of Diploma of College Education DEC.
Thanks to the known quality of its training programs and the resources used, Air Richelieu College has been recognized, since 2019, as the first flight college, an Approved Training Organization (ATO) by ICAO.

Company History

Founded in 1928, the Montreal Aeroclub / Air Richelieu College has been able to establish itself as one of the leaders in pilot training in Canada. Our international reputation allowed us to be the very first private aviation college recognized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in 2014.
In 2018 our partnership agreement between the College and Jazz Aviation became official. The gateway program enables our most successful graduates to earn a place as a pilot working for this renowned company.

International influence

We are proud to have trained thousands of pilots around the world, including astronauts Julie Payette and David Saint-Jacques. During his recent mission, David Saint-Jacques honoured our school by bringing his college pilot crest with him to space.
